From HSR Taichung Station, travel to Puli first, then use a Cingjing-bound bus. Check the current connection and return service before leaving Taichung.

Visitor tips

  • The high elevation can feel cool and weather can change quickly; bring a layer and check conditions before departure.
  • Treat Cingjing as its own mountain day rather than adding Sun Moon Lake on the same day.
