Taiwan Way is a public travel guide. It does not offer user accounts, accept payments or operate a contact form. This page explains the limited browser storage and third-party services used by the site.

Taiwan Way stores your selected language in your browser so the site can remember it on a later visit.

Hosting and search performance

Cloudflare delivers the site and may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details and requested URLs for security and delivery. Google Search Console is used to review aggregate search visibility; Taiwan Way does not currently include a separate visitor analytics script in its source code.

GetYourGuide tours and affiliate links

Some attraction and itinerary pages load a GetYourGuide widget from GetYourGuide’s servers. Loading the widget or following an affiliate link connects your browser to GetYourGuide, which may process device, network, referrer and cookie information under its own policy.

  • Affiliate URLs include a partner ID and campaign code
  • Taiwan Way may earn a commission if you book, at no additional cost to you
  • Bookings and payments take place with GetYourGuide, not Taiwan Way

Some pages link to Klook for a separately labelled nearby attraction. Following an affiliate link connects your browser to Klook, which may process device, network, referrer and cookie information under its own policy. Bookings and payments take place with Klook, not Taiwan Way.

Pronunciation feature

Pronunciation uses the browser’s Web Speech API. Taiwan Way does not request microphone access or receive a voice recording. Voice availability and processing depend on your browser, device and operating system.

Your choices

You can block third-party content in your browser, avoid tour widgets and affiliate links, or clear this site’s local storage. Blocking third-party content does not prevent you from reading the travel guides.
